Chairman

We're thrilled to introduce you to our dynamic Chairman at the helm of our laboratory, Dr. Md. Rezuanul Islam.

Dr. Islam currently holds the esteemed position of Professor in the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at Islamic University, Kushtia-7003, Bangladesh. His areas of expertise encompass Agricultural Microbiology, Natural Product Chemistry, and Fermentation Technology. 

Along with academic excellence and research, Dr. Islam has performed, and continues to perform, various administrative duties. He successfully served as Chairman of the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering for two terms. He was also the student advisor of the University, the Transport Administrator for two terms, and the Director of Institute of Islamic Education and Research (IIER). He was a visiting professor at Cankiri Karatekin University, Turkey in 2022. Currently, he is serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences and the Syndicate member of Islamic University, Kushtia. 

With a passion for pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge, Dr. Islam has been at the forefront of innovative research in these fields, paving the way for breakthroughs that impact our world.
